When will there be a Wild About Music in MY city?
Wild About Music has national and international expansion plans.
We are planning to open retail stores in several key music cities with well developed
tourism focuses, and a demonstrated history, appreciation and presence of music & art
as part of the local cultural landscape. Watch our newsletter for announcements in the future.
Do you have a printed catalog?
No, we do not print a catalog. Because our selection is so unique and availability changes
so quickly, a printed catalog would be inefficient. We commit to frequently changing the
merchandise on our e-commerce site to bring you new music related products and gifts. We
carry thousands of products in our physical store and are happy to fulfill special
requests. Please e-mail us with your needs--(ie: music genre, instrument, type of items
and a price range) and we will do our best to help with suggestions.
How can I submit MUSICALLY THEMED merchandise or art for consideration?
Wild About Music is happy to consider consignment of new art for it's physical location
and web site. You may send submission packets for art that include color copies,
reproductions, photos or slides, price lists and biographical information about
yourself-the artist. DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL ART as we will not be able to return submission
packets. We also review art in our physical location by appointment only. Space and time
is very limited and we are only able to respond to art that we have an interest in.
Merchandise will be considered for purchase when a catalog, photos or sample and a price
sheet is submitted and Net 30 terms are granted. We cannot return samples. Please mail ALL

Why is the item I am ordering out of stock or on a long lead time?
We are the coolest most comprehensive collection of music themed gifts and art in the
world and we are for "real". Many of our gifts are of very limited quantities
and/or handmade and are literally sourced from all around the world. If you order an item
that must be backordered you will be given the option to wait or cancel. Many times we
will sell out of an item that cannot be duplicated and we will have to decline the order
or suggest an alternative. We will do everything we can to keep the site current with
available products and to take care of your needs. We are always available by phone or
e-mail with suggestions if you are under a time deadline. If you see an item that you
can't live without be sure to order promptly or you may be disappointed!
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Bank Cheques & Money Orders. Your
order will not be filled or shipped until your credit card is approved and/or your check has cleared our bank. Your credit card will only be charged if and when the item you ordered
is ready to ship. DO
NOT SEND CASH. Your billing address MUST EXACTLY MATCH the name and spelling on your
credit card, you must also provide us with a working daytime telephone number for
verification or your order will be refused. This site has secure transaction processing
through Yahoo Shopping so your credit information can be transferred safely.
How long does it take to ship an order?
We are dedicated to communicating with all of our customers in an expedient manner about
their orders. If an item is in stock we will ship out within 3 business days, although our goal is always same day shipping. You will be
notified if your order needs a longer time to fill. If your order cannot be completely filled we will ship what we have. We will attempt to notify you by email when items are temporarily out of stock. Please watch your email for several days after you order and respond promptly to let us know how you desire your order be handled in the event it cannot be completely filled. We may be holding your shipment while we seek clarification so a fast reply from you will get things flowing again. CALL US AT 512-708-1700 IF YOU NEED SOMETHING RUSHED! Standard UPS Ground takes about 4-7
business days to receive in the continental US. Expedited shipping is available if
requested at an additional charge. International orders can often be sent Global Priority Mail or Parcel Post Air for arrival in about a weeks time.
How do you determine your shipping charges?
We ship UPS ground within the continental USA and our shipping rates reflect those charges as
well as our packaging charges. Our minimum cost to ship any package is $11 (and up) which covers the UPS charge and materials used. We DO NOT make any profit on shipping but try to break even in order to offer our goods to everyone worldwide. Our shipping charges are automatically generated by our webserver based on dollars purchased and thus represent an average. Sometimes several high dollar lightweight small items (ie: $50 shirts) can trigger a shipping cost that may seem high. You are always welcome to phone us and request that your package be requoted. If we can save you any money we will be happy to let you know. Very large bulky orders can also be shipped by private carrier. Please remember there is always a human being available at 512-708-1700 to discuss your special shipping needs and try to get you the best deal possible. Items that are bulky or need special packaging will incur an additional shipping
charge which is noted on the item. We can expedite your order for an additional charge. You will be instructed to email us or call for a quote when you finish your order. If your shipment is oversized, must be shipped in multiple cartons, or for any reason we cannot ship the items you ordered within our normal pricing guidelines, or you request special services,
we will call you with a shipping quote for your approval before we ship. We can ship
internationally and we use many methods to keep the cost at a minimum, all
shipments outside of the continental USA MUST be quoted and our regular shipping charges DO NOT apply. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE OUR SHIPPING POLICY AND CHARGES AT ANYTIME.

What states must pay sales tax?
Since Wild About Music has a location in Texas, all shipments going to Texas are subject to local sales tax. As of 1/19 the rate is 8.25% in Texas. Shipments going to any state other than Texas are tax free.
What is your return policy?
You may return an item in it's original condition. It must be postmarked for return within
15 days of our outbound ship date and include your receipt. Shipping charges are not
refundable, inbound or outbound. Wild About Music reserves the right to refuse any item
for return that appears to have been used, was purchased fraudulently or is not returned
within the specified time. E-mail or call us if you need further clarification's.
How do online Gift Certificates work?
Your 24 hour gift solution! Gift Certificates are money on account that can be spent ONLINE by the recipient at wildaboutmusic.com/musicgifts.com. They are valid for one year from the date of issue. Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash and no change is given back. Any unredeemed balance will remain on account until it is spent or the time expires. The recipient must pay all taxes, shipping and additional services ordered over and above the gift certificate amount. Your gift certificate recipient will be emailed notification of your gift within 24 hours of your order. In that email they will be given a code which is used as a form of payment each time they shop until they have used the entire value. Please note that online gift certificates are not redeemable in our physical stores, if you wish to purchase a gift certificate for use in either our Austin or Santa Monica physical store you must call those stores and we will be happy to set it up and mail it to you. Do you sell wholesale?
Only the items which we license and actually produce are available wholesale to qualified resellers. At this time that consists of art prints and several related t-shirts. The bulk of our offerings do not carry a margin sufficient for us to wholesale them. You may email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for furthur clarification.
Do you offer quantity or trade discounts ?
Yes, on most of our items we may be able to extend a discount when purchased in large quantities: IE: More than a dozen identical items. These discount vary by item and manufacturer. If we can get a discount, we will be happy to pass it along to you. Please write us at email@example.com with your specific needs, price parameters, timeline and ship to zipcode. We may also be able to make suggestions of other items to consider. You must allow plenty of lead time! 6 weeks is customary although we have been able to jump through a 48 hour hoop on occassion. Be aware large quanities are seldom in stock so we are dealing with a mfr and thier lead times as well.
Can you help me appraise & resell my music memorabilia, and collectibles?
No, we ONLY work directly with and represent individual artists and their works. We do not
appraise or re-sell music memorabilia or secondary market art in the possesion of private
collectors, agents etc.
Can I commission special pieces of artwork and gifts?
Yes, we work with over 100 (and growing) local, national and international artists. Many of
them do commissions. If you have a special idea you would like to execute into an original
piece of art please let us know. We would be happy to help you find the right artist to
work with. Our artists have designed art for clubs and venues, wedding gifts, retirement
gifts, corporate offices, celebrities, The President of the United States, Royalty and
many other wonderful art-and-music-loving people just like you! Custom works all require a
50% non-refundable deposit, lead time is usually 60 days or more. Not to scare you though:
